Banff

Banff, pretty much the epitome of a Canadian ski town and located in some of the most stunning scenery you could find anywhere in the world and with all the usual Canadian hospitality you would expect, the town is an absolute must visit for anyone hoping to see what real Canadian life is like.

Less than 2 hours from Calgary airport, Banff has a shorter transfer than many European ski resorts. Still a working town as well as a ski destination, Banff has some excellent facilities, which include great restaurants serving whopping steaks along with some brilliant shopping.

With all the major US Brands available in town, this is a great place to pick up some of those luxury items that cost a little more in the UK.

Its three ski areas, Mount Norquay. Lake Louise and Sunshine enable you to use your lift passes over the three ski areas and are suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders and from a family perspective its pretty much perfect.

With some excellent runs available in all three ski area's, getting to them is a little different than Europe and each day you'll hop on the ski-bus with several stops around the resort and the cost included in your lift pass. You'll then drive out to the ski areas and get to view some of the most perfect landscapes you'll ever see on the way.

The temperatures are slightly different to Europe so wrapping up is required during January and February as the temperature can drop quite quickly when the snow rolls in, and when it snows, it snows. All this means tons of fresh snow to enjoy on the way down the mountain.

The hotels in Banff are all of a high standard, with excellent facilities and generally located right in the centre of town. As with all of our hotels we aim to get you as near to the resort centre as possible.

Having skied Banff ourselves, perhaps the best way to describe the resort is that of a film set, as everywhere you look offers the classic photo opportunity of what a Canadian town looks like from a European perspective and if your after the perfect Christmas card photo of all the family, then Banff fits the bill perfectly.

At Snowseeker we handmake everything especially for you and some of our Hotels and Apartments already include your lift passes as standard.

To bring you the best value, we frequently get you 'todays price' which is based on exchange rates and fluctuations in availability, so, use these costs as a guide as to what your holiday will be. All you need to do is contact us on 01273 840082 and we'll happliy discuss the best value for you and your group.

To save you time, we'll build all of your requirements into the total of your handmade ski and board trip, simply tell us who needs what and we will give you one all in family or group total. Or, if you are a group who wish to pay separately, we'll break it all down to make it easy for you, the group leader.

We at Snowseeker believe that to become the best, you learn from the best and we've lost count of the number of people who have foregone a lesson and are still catching that inside edge years later. So get your lessons booked up and get that inside edge issue nailed, spending less time on your backside and more time impressing your friends on the mountain.

Often you'll find that a year or two out of the game doesn't always help either and that's why we've put everything together in one easy package which means you get the best out of your Ski and Board trip and to elevate your technique, our comprehensive packages include all gear hire, lessons and lift pass.

Even if you're a beginner or a self taught 'thrower' down the mountain, there is a pack to suit everyone, at most levels of ability.
